The Nickelodeon game Monkey Quest also uses NC (or NickCash, as they call it) as it currency. It gave out 150 free NC for it's players as a special offer during December 2011. You would get the free NC when logging into the side with your neopets account.

From July 22nd to July 24th, certain members of the Petpet Park, Monkey Quest, and Neopets Team were away at Comic-Con International in San Diego, California.
